Israel has carried out deadly airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of over four hundred Palestinians. The airstrikes, which violated the ceasefire, involved bombing various areas of Gaza from Israeli aircraft.
In response, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. He expressed his anger over the attacks in a post on the social media platform X, stating, "I am outraged by the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza."
He strongly called for adherence to the ceasefire, the restoration of continuous humanitarian aid, and the unconditional release of the remaining detained prisoners.
On Wednesday (March 19), Al Jazeera reported that Guterres had made a firm protest against Israel's attacks in his statement. Additionally, governments and humanitarian organizations from various countries have condemned Israel's renewed bombing of Gaza.
The situation in Gaza is becoming increasingly dire, with calls for stronger condemnation and intervention from the international community.
